The Federal Minister of Interior, Sheikh Rasheed announced that Mobile Services to remain suspended on Chehlum which falls on 27 September.
He said the government will deploy civil armed forces across the province to provide security on Chehlum processions. The security will be tightened in major cities including Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar and Islamabad.
There are 511 Madrassahs and 1000 mosques in Islamabad and Police and security forces are in touch with them.
Sheikh Rasheed said ” One of them always give us trouble ” while referring to Jamia Hafsa women’s seminary near Lal masjid, and the incident involving the raising of the Taliban flag on the roof.
